MARC TARON,
Raised on the East Coast, and son of European parents, Marc Taron’s early architectural influences were Romanesque and Gothic cathedrals and bridges, with their soaring, vaulted ceilings and seemingly impossible spans and arches. After an internship, Marc began his career in New Mexico, where he embraced the sculptural free-flowing forms of Pueblo Adobe architecture.
While the beauty of the High Desert was undeniable, Marc felt drawn back to the ocean, and in 2005, established the firm Arquitectura LLC, on the island of Maui. Over the years, Marc has designed several award-winning homes on Maui, Oahu and the Big Island and has been featured in several publications.
